Southern Cross covers more than 7 marinas in Plymouth and many more across the South West providing the ideal location to buy and sell your boat from the heart of the Westcountry aided with state of the art on site machinery and services at Yacht Haven Quay. Southern Cross in Plymouth is an ideal location for new yacht and power boat sales as it boasts ample storage (including dry stacking), cranes capable of lifting up to 15 tonnes at the marina and 80 at the quay. Other boat services include highly qualified engineers, pressure washing and good access to the A38 which is the main road to the South West.
Brokerage of a very low 4% (sole brokerage plus VAT) will be offered to vendors if the yacht is kept on site at Yacht Haven Quay. If you require Southern Cross Yachts to carry out viewings on your yacht outside of Plymouth, the commission fee will be 6% on a sole brokerage basis and 5% within Plymouth. All part exchanges must have surveys carried out on them prior to exchange price being agreed. Any other services carried out outside of any agreement will be charged at a per hour basis.
All Southern Cross brokerage boats have a pre-sales inspection, are valeted, and have a brokerage form completed with the sale particulars approved by the owner.

Our yachts are fully equipped to ensure a relaxing, fun and stress free sailing holiday. We are based in the new marina on the north east side of the beautiful island of Lefkas. The marina is the most modern and well equipped in the Ionian and ideally located for both the North and South Ionian sailing areas and just a short transfer from Preveza airport which is served by many airlines from the UK.
The Ionian Island sailing areas offer something for everyone with six major islands to explore - Cephalonia, Lefkas, Ithaca, Zakinthos (Zante), Corfu and Paxos as well as the Greek mainland with its own array of beautiful villages, harbours and bays. Great for all ages and abilities including couples, families and groups of friends the Ionian Sea is the perfect cruising ground for fun, relaxed and varied sailing.
Our bareboat charters offer you total freedom on your sailing holiday with the security that we are always available should you need assistance. While on charter with us you have access to our personal support and professional advice wherever and whenever you need it.
Assisted sailing is a great option for less experienced sailors looking to develop or for those a little rusty to get a confidence boost or to fine tune their skills. Assisted sailing is also a popular option with couples and families who benefit from the safety net of having an extra experienced sailor on board for the first days of their holiday.
Skippered charter is great for those with little or no experience on yachts. If you wish to learn to sail your skipper will provide informal and relaxed tuition. You can do as much or as little sailing as you like and enjoy your holiday with time to swim and relax.
