Southern Cross Yachts are the Westcountry dealer for Bavaria Motorboats.

New models due for 2009/10, include the stunning new Bavaria BMB 46 designed in collaboration with BMW.

BAVARIA Yachtbau GmbH continues counting on a robust market in the boat sector by investing into a further fourth new production-line. The capacities of the full-automatic varnishing system for furniture and interior equipment of sailing and motor yachts will also be enlarged. 

Despite the fact consumers generally tend to keeping a low profile due to the latest developments in the financial sector, results of the recent boat fairs showed that there is an on-going interest and demand for our yachts. Compared with the results of preceding years, we did not sell as many yachts – but still many more than we initially estimated!

BAVARIA Yachtbau continues building our yachts strictly on demand. Our short term aim will now be to stabilise our current production rate of six yachts per day. This means we will not produce yachts to stockpile them afterwards - every customer has the full choice of all available options to configurate an individual ship. At the same time, we will strengthen and further establish the existing product lines and introduce new products, especially for the growing market of larger yachts.
